I decided to make this account as a tribute to one of the best men in the world, Steve Irwin (aka the Crocodile Hunter).

Steve Irwin died Monday, September 4th 2006. He was in the middle of shooting a television segment "The Ocean's Dealiest" when he swam over a stingray. In defence, the stingray whipped up its tail, piercing Steve in the chest, hitting his heart. Witnesses say he died of cardiac arrest shortly after the attack.

"The Ocean's Deadliest" is still going to be finished, but as a tribute to Steve in his last segment.

Steve loved all animals and his family. He will be missed by many.

We love you Steve!!!

My personal thoughts:

Steve was a great Idol to me. I watch him on his various TV segments for years. It wasn't until I watched him and his great love for animals, that I wanted to persue a career of my own involving animals and saving them. I am not sure of what yet, but I know I will be going stronger than ever with this.

I personaly want to help achieve the things Steve was trying to...in ways of Conservation and helping to build that bridge between our world and the animal world. Yet I do not want to go to the extremes Steve had with putting myself in as much danger as he did.

Notice!!!

I have seen on other Tribute pages on how people responded to these tribute accounts. So I want to make things clear. I made this account, like others have, to honor and remember the greatest man, and a hero to many. This is to remember how he lived, his love for animals, and sharing our feelings about this great man.

I could care less about getting pageviews. Those say nothing to me. If I cared about pageviews, I would have done this on my main account (which is Sirfy, btw). Only a heartless person would try to take advantage over someone's death.

Also, in getting MANY people involved in this, contributing pieces of art and literature, and kind words about Steve, I am in hopes that maybe this will get to Terri and her family so they can see how many people truely loved this man and the hard work many did to make various tribute pages and tribute art pieces.

So please do not be a heartless bloak and try to bash me for expressing myself and allowing others to share their love for Steve.
